Instructional Programs
If you have recently joined the club, please stop by the tennis office and speak with Tennis Director, Boxer Clarke or Head Pro, John Green. They will be happy to answer any questions about our programs. We offer members a free ½ hour evaluation so that participants can register for level appropriate programs.
Private and Semi-Private Tennis Lessons Available
Group Clinics (8-week program)
We offer weekday, evening, and weekend clinics. Each group will have no fewer than three, and no more than five students per court. These clinics will continue throughout the winter and spring.
Participants who miss the start of a session may register for the remaining weeks if there is space available. The session cost will be pro-rated.

Beginners
Advanced Beginners
Start your tennis career now! We love having new students in our program!
Clinics will introduce students to the basic strokes and to the elements of the game. This will be a fun introduction to tennis
in a relaxed setting.
This class is for students who have completed the beginner course, or who have had some previous experience. Get back into the swing of things with us!
Instructional Round Robin (2.0 - 3.0)
Triplets
The format for this clinic will be a blend of drills that focus on stroke production and consistency including play that emphasize both singles and doubles strategy. This is
a great way for new members to meet
other players in the club!
This is a fast paced clinic that emphasizes footwork, stroke production, and singles strategy. Players will be grouped by level
and availability. If the times we are offering do not suit your schedule and you have a group of three players, we will schedule a time that works for you.

TEAM TENNIS
D.B.H.I.T.L. (DOROTHY BRUNO HILL INDOOR TENNIS LEAGUE)
We will field D.B.H. teams in division’s 1a, III & IV this year. Practices will begin in the first week of October and matches will start mid-October. Team members are committed to one practice and one match per week through the beginning of March. Players must be members of the club to participate per league rules.
C.M.I.T.A. (CENTRAL MASS INDOOR TENNIS ASSOCIATION)
We will field Central Mass Teams for men and women in the A, A-1, B, & C divisions. Competitive matches will be played on Saturday afternoons. Evening practices will start the beginning of October and matches will start in mid-October. Practices are optional. Players may sign up on a weekly basis or may choose to pre-pay for a series of practices. Players must be members of the club to participate per league rules.

W.S.T.L. (Women’s Suburban Tennis League - Spring League)
Spring league is a seven-week season with home and away matches. It runs from the end of April to the middle of June. Home matches are played outdoors at Bentley College (weather permitting). Registration for Spring League teams begins at the end of March
USA Team Tennis Mixed Doubles Winter Leagues & USA Team Tennis Summer Leagues
The Waltham Athletic Club hosts Mixed 7.0 & Mixed 9.0 teams in the winter. In the summer we field teams in the 4.5, 3.5 & 3.0 divisions for both men & women. If you would like to play on a USA team during the 2007 season, please contact the tennis department at extension 31.

IN-HOUSE LEAGUES & ROUND ROBINS
Advanced Beginner Round Robin (2.5 +)
This eight-week series is a great introduction for players who are new to competition, or for players who are returning to the game and want to play in a relaxed, fun, setting. We will use a round robin format and will include both singles and doubles play.
Men’s A level Classic
Players can sign up weekly for these evening round robins. We will reserve two courts and provide balls.
Sunday Social Mixed Doubles (3.0 +)
Join us on Sunday nights, 5:00 - 7:00 PM, for two hours of tennis, followed by refreshments. This is a great way to meet other people to play with!
