KIDS, YOUTH, TEEN, & FITNESS at the Waltham Athletic Club Fall 2009

Welcome
Our goal is to teach your children that fitness should be a way of life. Our fitness director, Lawrence Malloy will be conducting these classes. He is a certified personal trainer, group exercise instructor, soccer & basketball coach and has worked with kids programs, for over ten years. Your children will become faster, stronger and grow in self-esteem and confidence and most important, have fun. Fit and Fun
This 12-week program is for ages 5-8 years old. This 45 minutes class will introduce your kids to some great life long habits. Lots of fun with games, body weight exercises, and speed ladder drills. Starts October 6th-- December 15th. Days off : none
Class meets Tuesdays, 4:15-5:00 p.m.

Member: $180 per session Non-member: $192 per session

Youth Workout
This 10-week program is intended for 9-12 year olds. All activities are based on body movement, body weight exercises, running, jumping, and fun. Focus will be on quickness development through speed ladder drills, agility drills and first step explosive training. This 60-minute class will get your kids moving! Starts October 9th – December 18th. Days off: November 27th
Class meets Fridays, 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.

Member: $150 per session Non-member: $160 per session

Teen Workout 101
This 10-week program is designed to teach workout fundamentals in a structured small group setting to kids 13-18 years old. Proper Nautilus/Keiser lifting techniques and cardiovascular training and stretching will be taught. First step explosive training, speed ladder drills, agility drills will also be taught. Proper workout etiquette will also be discussed. Included; supervised workout time in the weight room on Fridays between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. Starts October 7th– December 23rd. Days off November. 11th and 25th
Class meets Wednesdays, 4:30 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. Supervised workout: Friday 5-6pm

Member: $195 per session Non-member: $205 per session

Youth and Teen Private/Semi-Private Soccer Lessons and Basketball Lessons
If your child has the desire and determination to become a better soccer/basketball player, this program will help to achieve that goal. With private soccer/basketball training your child will receive the one on one attention that is difficult to obtain during team practices.
